TEACHER BIO
Kathryn Blomberg
Kathryn is mother to 5. She has lived in 5 countries in 3 continents. She met her Swedish husband while studying Russian at BYU. She got her bachelor's degree in history- family History. Her first two children were born at the American Fork hospital. Life got exciting as the family moved to England, where child number three was born. After her husband finished his master's degree they moved to his home country of Sweden. While living there for 7 years children 4 and 5 were born and Kathryn got Swedish citizenship so the family could always move and travel together having the same passports and citizen rights. Moving to the Kingdom of Jordan, Kathryn became a homeschool mom. After 2 years in the middle east and experiencing history and culture first hand (Madaba, Petra, Jerash, Jerusalem...) The family moved back to Utah. After 1 year of public schooling homeschooling started beckoning again. She loves the adventures of discovering new things through reading, activities and on site experiences. These adventures are even greater when shared with her kids and others she gets to teach.
