What ages do you serve?
We currently serve students ages 5–18, with programs and workshops tailored to each age group.

Schedule & Classes

What does a typical day look like?
Microschool Days:  Each day includes a blend of leadership & character, academic & skills  time, hands-on projects, creative exploration, and community connection.

Enrichment Days:  There are 4-6 classes for different ages offered each day of varying topics.  We focus on hands-on, movement based and real world learning.

Can my child attend just one day a week?
Yes. You can choose to attend one or more days per week depending on your family’s needs and the availability of classes.
Individual classes are offered based on if there is space left after full day students have registered.

How are classes grouped?
Students are grouped by ages approximately 5-9, 9-12, 13-18, but it does depend on the class!
Elementary microschool is for 5-12
Middle microschool is for 12-14
High school microschool is for 14+

Who teaches the classes?
We hire teachers who love teaching kids and are passionate about learning and understand homeschoolers!  We have homeschool moms, former teachers, college students and more.
All teachers pass a criminal background check.

Support

How do you communicate with parents?
We use a private app to keep families informed, connected, and in the loop with announcements, schedules, and updates.  We may occasionally text or email you as well.

WHAT IS THE MOM'S GROUP?
Our Mom’s Group is a supportive community for homeschool moms to connect, grow, and recharge. We meet regularly for meaningful conversations, encouragement, and practical help with homeschooling. Whether you’re new to the journey or a seasoned pro, the Mom’s Group offers a place to share ideas, ask questions, and build friendships—with people who get it. It’s included for free with your child’s enrollment and is one of the best ways to find your homeschool village.
What is the HOmeschool Hero CLub?
It’s our support membership for homeschool parents! Included free with at least 1 student enrolled in 1 full day, the club offers community, resources, and guidance to help you lead your homeschool journey with confidence.
Homeschool Hero Club
You can also purchase the club separately!

Can I schedule a tour or consultation?
Absolutely! We'd love to meet you and help you explore if iCreate is a good fit for your family.  Fill in the Contact Us form to set up a phone call, a tour or a free homeschool consultation.
Need the old website?  You can access it HERE.

Student Experience

Do students have to take tests or get grades?
We focus on mastery, progress, and self-directed learning, not standardized testing.  In our microschools, students will keep a learning portfolio.

In the middle & high school microschools, students may need to take some tests to learn that skill.

What is your policy on behavior and discipline?
We have a clear code of conduct based on mutual respect and safety. Repeated violations may result in removal from the program. Details are outlined in our  Family Guidebook.
Are parents required to stay onsite?
No. Our program is drop-off.  Parents are always welcome to observe, volunteer or stay for special events!
Do you go on field trips?
Yes! We regularly offer optional field trips, service projects, and community events throughout the year.   Events are typically held on Fridays (not all), and are free or low cost for iCreate members. Some events are opened to the greater homeschool community

Our Story

Picture
Hi!  We are Marika Connole and Molly Christensen.  We’re sisters who have 8 & 7 kids each plus grandchildren.  Between the two of us we have about 50 years worth of experience as homeschool moms!
When we were still kids and sharing a room, we worked and played together.  One thing we did was to go into our bedroom closet and pretend it was an elevator.  When we opened the door, we would be at the next level up.  We are still choosing to "level up" together!
Both of us have started, run and participated in many homeschool co-ops over the years.  We are passionate about helping others on their educational journeys.
With a changing world, we wanted to create a new opportunity to support families while having a focus on technology, entrepreneurship, community and collaborating with others.  We also feel it is important to connect families in the education world outside of public education.
As busy homeschool moms with a lot of kids, we know how hard it is to get to all the things!  We want to support your efforts and lift the burden where we can!  We'd love to help you on your journey.
